REG 21 is appropriate for alopecia that is not scar-related. It is strongly indicated in cases of male-pattern baldness and hereditary hair loss. It is important to seek treatment as soon as possible. The sooner you seek treatment for hair loss, the better the results. If you are in a more advanced stage of baldness, other treatments such as implants may be more appropriate. REG 21 is appropriate for men and women in the following conditions :
Men : Ideally the treatment should be performed when the scalp is just starting to show through the hair, for example, when it is wet (before stage three on the Hamilton scale). In more advanced stages of hair loss we usually recommend combining REG 21 with a hair transplant.
Women : The treatment is ideally performed when the hair loss is still minor and doesn’t yet show on the top of the head (before stage two on the Ludwig scale). In cases of more advanced hair loss, REG 21 may still prove effective if adapted to the stage of baldness.
