BRAZILIAN HAIR STRAIGHTENING
Our stylists use the Framesi® Brazilian straightening system, which provides straight hair for several weeks. Brazilian straightening is designed to straighten your hair and eliminate any frizz and curls. The result is hair that remains straight for 6 to 12 weeks and a simpler daily routine. All you will need to do to tame your hair is to let it dry naturally. It will remain straight and disciplined.

How does it work?
Brazilian straightening brings together science, technology and nature combining the protective properties of Kerasea Complex, an innovative blend of powerful ingredients of which the main ingredient is keratin. Keratin is the substance that gives our hair structure. This keratin enrichment therapy helps fortify your hair and leaves it shiny, glossy and strong.
Advantages of Brazilian hair straightening
Coiffure Lémanic’s Brazilian straightening combats frizz while nourishing and repairing your hair. It keeps your hair hydrated and shiny and protects you from humidity and the external environment. Our products are high-quality and harmless; free of gluten, parabens, sulphates, chlorides and sodium. It is perfect for environmentally conscious clients.
Brazilian hair straightening: the process
A Brazilian straightening is done in four steps. Each stage is critical to protect your hair and give you an amazing result. The treatment can only be done in a hair salon because it is a meticulous, strand-by-strand process. The Coiffure Lémanic professionals will make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need during breaks which vary between 5 and 30 minutes.
A complete Brazilian straightening takes between 2 and 3 hours.

Shampooing
The first step is shampooing. This restores strength and moisture to the hair and eliminates frizz. We use a Black Sea shampoo with a high concentration of proteins and free amino acids. It also contains an extract of Caesalpina Spinosa, rich in complex polysaccharides which protect against dehydration. This formula works to form a sort of shield for your hair ensuring that the straightening will last.
Untwisting
Untwisting comes after shampooing. The cationic polymer used in this phase acts on the hair cuticles, sealing in the hydrolipid layer. This protects the hair from humidity and the external environment.
Serum
A serum of hydrolized keratin is then applied to the hair. It repairs and rejuvenates the hair as it combats damage to the hair fibres. Keratin is the protein of which your hair is mostly composed but it can become damaged by chemical treatments, washing, exposure to the sun and pollution. Hydrolized keratin easily penetrates your hair and repairs it from the inside.
Conditioning
The final step is the application of an antioxidant conditioner made from Amla oil. This natural plant-derived Indian oil has a variety of cosmetic applications for the hair and scalp. Rich in tannins, flavonoids, polyphenols and vitamin E, Amla oil gives your hair a healthy sheen and eliminates frizz. Results differ depending on the type of hair, its porousness, the hair care products you have been using, among other factors.
